Pacific Designers will design your web site from the point of view of your business goals, target customers and analyzing your individual needs. We have developed a customized web design three step process that ensures a professional web site presence for your business.

1. DISCOVER

The first phase of your project is the Discovery Phase. During this phase we spend time getting to know you, your business and how we can help. This consultation phase provides an understanding of details about the project and will determine who the audience is, what are your expectations, goals, objectives, what are the industry best practices and the design and technical scope.

Following the Discovery phase, a Web Proposal is written, outlining how the project will be approached. This document contains suggestions for the project's strategy, based on the client's requirents.

We organize an information architecture to show how the web users are going to navigate through your site. With a full palette of technologies available, we will consider the merits of applying them, as appropriate, to arrive at the best solution to achieve your goals.

2. DESIGN

The second phase of your project is the Design Phase. This is where the fun begins!
Pacific Designers presents two visual design examples of your web site homepage. After several revision rounds a final design is selected for implementation.

Up to two sets of amendments to the chosen design will be carried out as part of the project’s design phase. If more than two sets of amendments are requested, a written quote will be provided and must be approved by the client in writing prior to the work commencing.

The client views the designs in their Web browser so they look as close as possible to a coded page, but without the actually function. Adjustments to the chosen design may be carried out, to get it to a stage where the client is happy with it. Using the approved homepage design as its basis, the development focuses on the look and feel of lower level pages. These show sample pages that a site visitor will encounter when moving through the site.

3. DEVELOPMENT AND DELIVERY

Development and Delivery
During technical implementation, the approved design development work is used as the basis for progressing towards fully functioning programmed web pages. This step involves optimizing graphics for web viewing, coding the pages into different web languages and testing the site for quality assurance, usability and functionality. The programmed site files will be presented on our servers during this technical implementation stage.

Once the client has approved the site’s technical development, Web site goes LIVE!
